Sam Bradley's EP is AMAZING!

So, last week, I planned to post new Sam Bradley EP posters every day, but I ended up going to Seattle with my cousin.

Saturday was a big day for one of my favorite musicians, Sam Bradley; It was his 23rd birthday (Happy Birthday, Sammy!) and the release of his first ever EP. I got mine as soon as the download was open. And I LOVE it.

Sam's EP can be found at www.SamBradley.com. Six amazing songs and a beautiful, bittersweet video (his 1st official video). I HIGHLY recommend it. Only $10.00 at the link!

The songs are:
1. Sea Blue (the song in his first video)
2. Eugene/You-Gan (love the sound!)
3. Derek (this is the song from which we at The Land of Dreamers got our name. So special to us. Thank you, Sam!!!)
4. Pretty Boy (such a fabulous sound)
5. Passport (hahaha, oh, Sam)
6. It Begins (this one gets stuck in my head)

Please go have a listen and tell everyone you know about Sam Bradley. He's an amazing singer/songwriter and a lovely, friendly person, as well.

I was blessed to finally meet Sam this past summer in Dallas, Texas. He gave me the biggest hug ever. When you talk to Sam you know he's listening because he has this intense stare focused only on you. He's hilarious. He's talented. He's adorable. And he's going to be big. So get the EP now and you'll be able to say "Remember when . . ."

You should go RIGHT NOW to www.SamBradley.com and get Sam's EP. Then go to Sam's MySpace and become friends with him. And don't forget to follow him on Twitter at @samueltwitt1. He's hilarious.

TexFest09!

Right now I'm leaving on a jet plane, bound for Dallas, Texas, for what we at the Land of Dreamers are calling TexFest09! We're a group of fans who help promote & support English singer/songwriter boys Bobby Long, Marcus Foster, and Sam Bradley. They are amazing and we have an amazing time telling people about them.

All 3 are in Dallas for TwiCon, since they co-wrote songs that appeared on the Twilight Soundtrack, sung by their pal, and have some shows at other venues there and in Austin, so we decided it would be absolutely fabulous to all convene and meet & greet!

I can't believe I get to go! My lovely cousin gave me her frequent flyer miles and is letting me stay at her house in Austin! Such a miracle. I'm so grateful to her and to God. This is a dream trip.

I will be at Marcus' & Bobby's shows at Poor David's Pub tonight. Then, Saturday night is the coolest thing ever: Bobby, Marcus, & Sam all at Poor David's Pub. Sunday, we drive to Austin, where we will see Bobby & Marcus play again at Room 710 (Incidentally, their shows are the last shows at Room 710, which is closing.) Monday night, Sam plays at Stubbs BBQ. Tuesday afternoon, I fly home . . . exhausted, I am sure, and happy as ever!

I will be sure to post pictures & videos when I get home & get some sleep. This is going to be such a trip!

I'm actually very excited & quite nervous at this point. I haven't flown in about 7 years and this is my first big trip by myself (yes, at age 28). But, I cannot wait to meet all my fabulous LoD girls & Marcus, Bobby, & Sam. They are such sweethearts & truly gifted.

Please come visit us at the Land of Dreamers, visit the Boys at their MySpaces, and listen to some exquisite music! I'm very proud to be a Land of Dreamers member & support these Boys.

Bobby, Marcus, & Sam Updates

Ok, so lately my music of choice (possibly drug of choice) has been 3 English singer/songwriter/musicians. They are amazing and I cannot get enough of their music or their lovely, witty personalities.

If you want to hear some good music visit these boys:

Bobby Long myspace.com/musicbobbylong
Marcus Foster myspace.com/marcusfoster
Sam Bradley myspace.com/sambradley

Lots of links and I don't have time to properly format them right now, so this will have to do. I love these guys!!

First up, lots of Bobby news:

-After posting "Cold cold loving" on his MySpace yesterday, Bobby took it down by the end of the day. No word why yet, but lots of tears from the LoD Girls! :) Hopefully he's just going to put another, better version of it up. And as I was writing this Bobby's online on MySpace and just put it back up! So go listen & thank him for putting it up!!!

-A review of Bobby's music at an Indie blog: http://www.indieupdate.com/indie-music-blog/bobby-long/ Please go leave a comment & tell them how much you love Bobby's music. And then repost the link as a MySpace bulletin or on Facebook.

-The big one of the day: http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2009/06/exclusive-bobby-long-basking-twilight-fame An interview with RadarOnline. There's no place for comments, but there is a "Share it" button a the top that makes it easy to post the link everywhere. So do as many places as you can! :) (Oh, and stop by Bellaandedward.com to say thanks for posting it too: http://www.bellaandedward.com/index.php?subaction=showfull&id=1244832106&ucat=2,37&archive=&start_from=&)

-BUT the big LOD News of the Day is an email from Phil, which you can read here: http://community.livejournal.com/landofdreamers/300798.html Bobby's coming back Stateside for tons of dates all over from October-December, so start thinking of where he should come! Read the whole thing because there is lots of awesome, exciting info.
-Phil also asks us to go here http://www.ringcon.de/ and tell them Bobby will be in Germany in October & to book him for a show

Ok, I think that's the Bobby News for the Day.

Now, Marcus:
-I don't know if I sent this one yesterday, but here's a link to some clips of Marcus' show the other day: http://community.livejournal.com/landofdreamers/298658.html

-And, here are pictures from that performance: http://community.livejournal.com/landofdreamers/299468.html Use the link here to find the source of the pics & leave some comments on the pictures so they know how much we love our Marcus!

-This Saturday Marcus (and Phil, Bobby's manager) will be on Dreamers Radio on VampRadio. Details here at the LJ: http://community.livejournal.com/landofdreamers/299044.html Very exciting for us! He'll only be on for a bit, so no callers, but if you have a great question you can e-mail it using the address at the link. If you haven't listened before or you'll have to miss it, you can find the archives on iTunes. Free podcasts. Awesome. Go get the older shows because they are hilarious.

-Here are Marcus' latest Tweets:

http://twitter.com/marcusfoster1/status/2134999568 Marcus told us this morning that his ep will be on iTunes in 10 DAYS!!! Exciting! Go give him some love & tell him how much we're looking forward to it!

Bobby Long's "Left to Lie" On iTunes!

My newest favorite singer is a 22-year-old Englishman named Bobby Long. He's got so much talent: he plays the guitar, he sings with his gorgeous whiskey-ish voice, and he writes lyrics that sound like John Keats, one of my favorite poets (especially "Being a Mockingbird.")

Last night his first single "Left to Lie" came out on iTunes! It is absolutely beautiful and makes me cry. I have been listening to it over and over and I still can't believe how simply gorgeous it is. I thought the version on his MySpace was perfect, but this one is even more amazing.

I really cannot recommend Bobby Long enough! Go listen to all his songs. I love each and every one, though when I am listening to one I always think "this is my favorite." Then I listen to the next one and think, "this one's my favorite!"

To top it all off, Bobby's coming on a US Tour this summer (as well as a couple of limited dates in April!). I can't wait to see him in Portland and Seattle. You can find all his tour dates, his songs, and more about Bobby here!

And, here's a video of one of Bobby's songs, "Sad Woman Blues."

And here he is singing "So Tear Me Up," which is no longer on his MySpace (sad!!). I love this song.

And posts from my fellow Land of Dreams Street Team Members,
And check out the new website: The Land of Dreamers, which is a fansite for Bobby Long, Marcus Foster, and Sam Bradley. Awesome!
