On the Anniversary of Her Death

One hundred ninety years ago today, 18 July 1817, Jane Austen died. She was only 41 years old. The world lost a brilliant novelist. Thankfully, we still have her brilliant novels:

Pride and Prejudice
Persuasion
Sense and Sensibility
Emma
Northanger Abbey
Mansfield Park


What better way to honor Jane than by reading her delightful novels today? I highly recommend any of them, though my favorites are Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion.
